Vista Health System is one of Illinois' fastest growing healthcare providers. We are a two-hospital system located in Waukegan, Illinois. Vista Medical Center East (VMCE) is home to Northern Lake County's first Primary Stroke Center of Excellence, an Accredited Chest Pain Center of Excellence, and an Orthopedic and Joint Center of Excellence, certified in Hip and Knee Replacement. Vista Medical Center West (VMCW) has the area's only CARF-Accredited Rehabilitation Program. Both hospitals offer full Emergency Department services and VMCE is a Level II Trauma Center.

Our six ambulatory care sites are located within an 18-mile radius of our hospitals. These locations span a large area of Lake County. Vista Ambulatory Care Center in Lindenhurst offers full diagnostic services including x-ray and Big Bore 16-Slice CT Scanner. Other services at that campus include physical therapy services and laboratory services. The site will be home to the Lindenhurst Freestanding Emergency Center, which is scheduled to open in March 2011. Vista Health System also offers diagnostic and imaging services in Vernon Hills, Lindenhurst, Gurnee and Waukegan.
