Waukegan, IL, 12/11/08--Vista Health System is proud to welcome Dr. Joseph Craig from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago as Medical Director of its Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Vista Medical Center West, 2615 Washington Street, Waukegan, Illinois. Vista’s Inpatient Rehab Unit is the only acute inpatient rehabilitation unit in Lake County, Illinois and is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). It offers high quality physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation to help those who have suffered from stroke, traumatic injury or other devastating medical condition reach their highest level of independence in all life activities.

Before joining Vista Health System, Dr. Craig was an attending physician at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago for four years, rated Best Rehabilitation Hospital in America. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and brings more than eight years of leadership experience in the areas of general physical medicine and rehabilitation, inpatient service, and outpatient services.
