Ill., 07/26/07--Vista Health System is proud to announce that Dr. Isaac Thomas and Jose Santos have been awarded 2nd place at the 18th Annual Scientific Session, held by the American Society of Echocardiography. The 2nd place finish in the “Echo Challenge” consisted of a series of difficult challenges presenting and interpreting clinical cardiology cases from around the nation.
Dr. Thomas and Mr. Santos are affiliated with the Heart and Vascular Center of Lake County and practice in the cardiology unit at Vista Medical Center East.
According to Santos, “It was a wonderful experience to participate in this event. I truly enjoyed the opportunity to associate with renowned cardiologists, not only from the United States, but from around the world.”
